That must be it, thank you, I'll fix that tonight!

It was brilliant enough that the first patch came out, but the second one is just.... [lost for words]

Absolutely, the first patch was out of left field, never thought it would happen, it was amazing! This one is just icing on the cake at this point, but I'll take everything I can get!

Wow, another update.
Thank-you to the mystery devs for all the work put into this. This is better news than anything regarding Thief 4.

Is this one compatible with Thief: Gold the way that 1.19 was?

Of course, this is simply an updated version.

I have to stick my 2 cents on this one.
Le Corbeau posted the update to 1.19 on September 24th 2012, followed by an update to 1.20 which was posted on March 14th 2013.
A few things to note:
1) System Shock 2 engine source code was discovered a while ago.
2) Le Corbeau has only three posts on that forum.
3) Some of the people that have replied to that thread are from Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
4) The release_notes.txt file within the update zip file is in plain English (The posts that Le Corbeau posted on the French forum, are in clean French).
5) Software Engineer -
A: The game was released on (accoring to Wikipedia) on March 21st 2000.
B: The tools that were available at that time (that were used to develop this masterpiece) are out-dated (13 years, out-dated) by today standards (and have to be run in a V.M.E.)
6) Deus Ex Human Revolution was released last year, by the same studio that is presently working on Thief 4 (Eidos Montreal).
7) Thief 4 is under development.
I just have the feeling that who ever is developing these patches is an old school (and a good one at it) developer that was hired by Eidos studio to work (as one of the software engineers) on the developers team that is presently working on Thief 4 and he's doing it on his spare time (Three months of waiting time from patch v 1.19 to 1.20, only shows that this was done on spare time).
With all of this pointed out, I could be wrong
Regardless of the truth behind this great update, I'm grateful for this. Thank you who ever you are.
Merci tabarwetz ! :D:thumb:
P.S.
Were there any French Canadian developers on the TLG (or on Arkane, ION Storm) team of developers ?

Well, if someone at Eidos Montréal is working on Thief 1&2, then I'd like to thank him/her/them :).

I don't think the folks working on it are at Eidos Montreal. Fairly certain they're ex-LGS.
MoroseTroll on 18/3/2013 at 13:27
I personally doubt in it, because I strongly believe that it is too dangerous for any ex-LGS to work on the unofficial patch.
