The thread title still says "we need your vote" but as I came here to vote I noticed that the poll is closed. :)

I would like to say that there are differences and similarities between OMs and FMs, but one thing they all share is none of them were designed with one person's playing preferences in mind. It's fair for each player to have his/her own opinion but if their opinion is different than the majority, don't expect much to change. The OMs are mostly about a common story line, and FMs are mostly about self expression. A lot of time and effort is put into many of the missions that have been released, and its not always easy for an author to gauge how hard or easy the mission will be to figure out by the majority of the players. The author knows the entire mission so its not really possible for the author to forget how to complete the mission and get the perspective of players who have never seen the mission before. This is why we have betatesting. The beta testers' reports and reviews are the best indicator of how well a FM was made, and of course there might be one or two that have a hard time figuring out puzzles. That is pretty much unavoidable in every scenario because not every person thinks the same or has the same intellect. I played through the majority of the TDP20 missions without consulting TTLG, and I usually have to get help in some of the more challenging missions. :)
