If you're ghosting "Art of Thievery", that wouldn't work, I think. I havent't tried it, but don't you think that would alert the guards? I wonder if the glasses are even breakable.
Art of Thievery was a fantastic mission. I even managed to ghost it! :)

Breakage busts the ghost, at least by the rules I use (Eidos Forum Rules). I don't think that glass is breakable, anyway. :)

Oh, and a bit of advice for those attempting the Ghost and "no blackjack" flavors of the mission: regarding the push button type of switch, if you didn't know already,
any type of arrow can be used to shoot and turn off or on the switch. I used to think it was just broadheads (which make a lot of noise) but I shot a moss arrow into one by accident and it worked silently. Later in the mission, I found a note that confirmed that water arrows can be used in the same way.

I'm almost afraid to ask, but here goes.
Playing on expert and have all except the sword. I'm in the study without the key to the safe. Guess I missed it. Just spoil me. I've been in this mansion so long I feel like I need to pay rent.

LOL! I know how you feel. When I was betatesting it, I got to know it so well that I felt quite at home.:cheeky:
The safe key is
worn by the Lord himself. He is in the Captain's room, but would have left for a stroll when you got there. He should have come back and be in the room again, now.
Thanks, as usual, you have bailed me out again. :D

How does a thief gain access to this room? Playing expert and ghosting. Have ~5900 loot, three paintings and the four talismans with the combination book. I just need to find the sword, pick about three more pockets and find seven more secrets.
BTW I've never tired to ghost a mission this large before. I've got such a huge urge to hit someone. :cheeky: But I figure if there is a mission to be ghosted, it's this one. (not that I'm perfect ghosting...just trying not to be seen.) I've never gotten more use out of 5 rope arrows EVER. I'm almost done and I still have three left. I left one in the chapel getting the Air talismen. I forget where I put the other...probably left it stuck in one of the librarys.

SlyFoxx -
Did you find the switch under the Lord's chair in the study?
SlyFoxx on 13/11/2002 at 14:17
Why no good lady. I have not. I went over the room...well let's just say I gave it the once over more than twice. Figured the entrance was there some where as it made the most sence. Just could not find it.
Thanks
Oh well off to taff soon.
EDIT: OMG! I hate it when I miss something like that. :o Oh well.
