I'm playing this mission for the first time on expert, and I can't get to the north wing. Can someone point me in the right direction? Am I looking for a key or a secret entrance? If so, where do I find it?

You're looking for a key. You can find it in The Captain's Room which is marked on the map. :)

Please bear with me on this one, I'm not all that experienced so I play most of my games on normal setting... in the FM Art of Thievery... I'm trying to get one last painting "Shadow of the Trickster" in the Main Hall near the captain's bedroom... (or so the note says) where IS it? I saw a picture of a demon with a thick tail WAYYYYYY up there..is that it? any hints on how to get it? thanks in advance

You can't actually come down from above for this one. The corner pillar to the right of the painting is wood, so it takes rope arrows and the wall does as well, but it's still a bit tricky to get them in just the right place. I've sent you a screen shot that might help out.

Ooops! My bad. I was thinking of one of the other paintings I guess... it's been a while since I played this one and my memory's not what it used... er.. what were we talking about? ;)
