Yup, the location of each and every painting is different depending on which difficulty setting you are playing on. :)
The Lady of the Wood painting is
in the North Wing. There's a room that has two sunken areas on the side and it also has the door into the Camera Control room for this part of the mansion. The painting is hanging on the wall over the archway.
:)

Okay, it was there the whole time. Who would have seen it sitting there in the open like that anyway??? And did you know that the paintings change location in every difficulty level?? (Okay, I beat that one to death, I will get off it for real now.) Luckily, while looking for a thread on this (fine) mission, I found some others that got high praise from quite a few players! I downloaded two more just because of the feedback I came across. If only this real life stuff didn't keep coming up, I could play them ALL!!!!! The only other option would be to start paying attention to what I am doing and then I could probably finish sooner and work more of them in!!! (I just don't see that "pay attention" thing happening...)
THE EDIT IS THIS:
Can I believe I forgot to say "THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!!"

I can't believe this. I thought i had played this FM but i haven't. Anyway spent the last 2 hours on it.
I need some help. A readable says behind a grandfather clock there should be a switch to open a stain glass window, but i can't find any kind of switch.
The instructions the Lord gave to his guard to flip some level on the balcony in the glass house, well the level isn't there.
I am playing on hard.
:cheeky:

There isn't a lever on the clock on Hard, just Expert. Same for the torch switch on the glasshouse balcony. To see every little bit of this mission you have to play on Expert. :)

Greets.
Great mission...am really enjoying it.
However, I'm missing something and it's making me feel pretty dumb as it seems no one else has had this problem.
I'm playing on Expert. I have the instruction scroll. I can't find any torch switch on the balcony (I'm standing in the room below looking up). If I'm supposed to be on the balcony, well I can't get there 'cause the door is locked and I haven't found a key. What am I missing?
Nightwalker on 29/11/2003 at 16:52
The glasshouse balcony key is worn by
one of the people that walk around on the main floor of the glasshouse.
Hello Nightwalker!
I am missing exactly 50 loot on every difficulty setting and can´t find it anywhere. Can you help me out by sending me your loot list please?
Nightwalker on 12/12/2003 at 03:51
I've never actually made one up and I don't know if I have time right now. I'll see what I can do. :)
First, did you get the
regular looking blue vase that's worth 50g? They don't usually have a loot value so it's easy to miss. It's in the hallway with the door to the Music room and I think near the room with the ships wheel secret.
There are also several vases sitting on ledges around rooms and above doorways that you might have overlooked.

Oh my! Thank you very much! I found my missing loot! It was the really hard hidden (for my taste :-)) bottle of fine wine on the armoire near the small library! Such a great sneaker mission - really hope we will get many more of this kind!

I've got 17/17 secrets but miss 400 loot. Any more hard-to-spot hiding places?
I don't know how to get the statuette in the shrine room. Is there a switch to disable the security devices?
Just got it but it didn't add to the total amount of loot and I still have 6585 out of 6985, anybody remember how much it's worth? Maybe I've got all the loot now?
