Yes I figured it was the rats that caused damage. :) I hope I can figure it out. I'm always playing when I'm sleepy and tired. Maybe I should play this game at work. ;)

Stuck in the graveyard, there a locked gate in a crypt, i frobed the skull and yet nothing happens, is there any other switch i´m missing?

I have two questions:
Where is the attic located?
There is a door down in the basement that is locked. Where is the key for this door? :)

The 'attic' is the library. You need to find the tower first - look up in a staircase
The keys to the back door can be found later. On expert there are two of them.

On expert it's harder than on normal or hard ;)
The Holy Hammer is the special weapon
There's a scroll in the master's bedroom indicating that the hammer is not in the hammerite school any more. It's outside.
So you have to go through the back door first.
