This is another GOOD solution too! If you have enough hard disk space...

Yeah. Fortunately, the 52X speed isn't sustained long enough to shatter discs in most cases, but the older the polymer of the disc, and the more it's used (meaning that it's heated up, cooked a bit), dries it out, ages it faster, and makes it more brittle. So when the disc's edge is traveling at over 450 mph/720 kmh, it's more likely to shatter apart.

One of these (the second one) is the patch I meant before, so I don't believe it's so legal :p
Thank you for pointing this out. I had totally missed the link in that. Nightwalker

Discussing it sure isn't legal here--even though discussions have slipped through the cracks, unfortunately. Speaking of cracks, don't discuss them on the boards, as a rule.

I was under the impression the patch was legal. Sorry if I stepped over any boundaries of conduct I shouldn't have.
I did make an ISO of the disc, but unfortunatly that is stuck inside my dead dell dimension on an old IDE drive I can't use in my new SATA based pc. I guess it was just meant to be:(
But thanks everybodyfor your help:)
