I was thinking about this last night. Maybe Eidos are planning of doing a special release to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Thief franchise. You will never know. Maybe they will release Thief Gold and Thief 2 Gold in a two disc as a way of celebrating 10 years of Thiefy goodness.

How exactly are they going to "release" Thief 2 Gold when the missions are not complete or playable, and there are no Thief developers working for Eidos anymore?
