How exactly are they going to "release" Thief 2 Gold when the missions are not complete or playable, and there are no Thief developers working for Eidos anymore?
Oh crap, a voice of reason. Damn you!
Oh, and Norton sucks big elephantiasis donkey balls.

That is SOOOOOO bizarre, because I had that same thought the other night while I was trying really hard to not play!
Two minds think alike ;)
Orbweaver, you really are a party pooper, ain't ya? :cheeky: I imagine they will get some people to "finish off" the missions if they can, heck, even hire back the original thief developers, kiss and make up, and everything will be rosey again.
:erg: Why does everyone hate Norton? Is it because it is a nerdy name, founded by some sort of nerdy guy called Rodney Hogmarsh Norton and you guys don't wanna get nerd cooties or something? :cheeky:

norton is snake oil
it sits there and takes a lot of memory and processing power to look efficient and luls the user into a false sense of security
their firewall is not
their antivirus is not
and while you have these 300 processes running that do next to nothing, they actually hurt your machine more than anything
and deprive you of your hard earned and paid for resources of processing power, memory and disk space
fsecure products do essentially the same
just perhaps damage slightly less, and takes even more resources

you're better off with free software like AVG Antivirus and Spybot Search and Destroy.

That's quite intereasting, I didn't know Norton takes up so much space! Cheeky buggers. :erg:

Yup, AVG Free edition all the way. It's what I give to my customers and they never go back after I show them the difference in available resources.

I like the sound of Destroy, that Nicked mentioned. It sounds evil. I wonder if you can attack a hacker's comouter with Destroy? :ebil:
nicked on 6/8/2006 at 07:54
lol, while it would be awesome if there was an anti-hacker program called simply "Destroy", the program is "Spybot Search & Destroy", it'll just one product that helped clear out spyware. :cheeky:
