there were going to be multiple factions ... depending on how you played each mission, you could make different groups pleased or disappointed. later missions would be affected by this.
Quite possibly the only thing that could outdo the Dark Project itself.

Does British English use pronouns differently than American English, or does the above sentence make no sense at all?

Not only that, but I dont remember the Missions themselves ever changing in Deadly because of faction status.
Hopefully, Deadly didnt introduce too many people to factions, because it has been done to much greater effect in many other games.
I thought the factions in Deadly were just another joke, and treated them as such.
:)

It would be impossible even for maps without water areas or need of rope arrow.
TDS engine just can't handle big or complex(even relatively) maps. More precisely, it can, but only
theoretically.
lol, how about Theives' Guild?:cheeky:

They could of done more with the factions side of the game, personally. Probably more RPG-style.

Agreed.
Compare the use of factions in Deadly to say, Wizardry VIII. Now that was good use of factions! You could help one side or the other, or you could go for the across the board alliance of the factions. Even MightMagic VIII used factions to great effect.
They were completely useless in Deadly.

Maybe they couldn't put as much into it because of time and money restraints. Ever think of that?
