Yes, I think we're aware of that, but then why try to put something into the game that is obviously going to be neglected? I mean, the proper briefing scenes were cut to save time. Surely they wouldn't have been as difficult as creating a new faction system. Thief really didn't need a faction system and the time could have been better spent on finely tuning the core of the game, rather than new features.

So, digging up this thread again ( hope you won't kill me for necromancy huh ).
Things with Thief 2 Gold are proceeding smootly. We have the missions and we're already working on them. The architecture at this moment is more than terrible, there are so many things to be improved, but with the blessed help of the Master Builder everything will be in place :P

I for one haven't touched the mission. (excluding making the sky sunset and fixing a terrain complexity error) I probably won't be actually building until the level is fully discussed in the dev forum.
