anyone using 3d fix manager at all.
Thief Gold is working sound but can not get thief 2 to work or even have it seen as being installed.

I've used to play it in stereo-3D, but as far as I remember I had to rename the exe file to thief3.exe to prevent it from getting a profile settings from 3dvision.
What is your driver version and OS?

Yeah, sorry, I have played Thief with 3D Vision, but it was literally a decade ago - I haven't tried in anything approaching a modern setup.
