I first tried to get past them, but then I.. walked on a metal tile.
They were searching for me, so I blackjacked them. O well, next time :D

Yes, those two guys were the hardest and I could not manage them. On the other hand I made the robot commit suicide :D This is an excellent mission. It has plenty of custom stuff, but the gameplay preserves the classic Thief feeling.
Thanks Krush!

Excellent FM, Krush :thumb: - particularly enjoyed the really good, evolving story that made it last longer & longer; more & more enjoyment! And great architecture & layout.
But will have to go back & find the secrets & loot I missed...

Completed all the objectives and went back to where I started and found note on floor. Followed directions to no avail. Have searched everywhere from top to bottom of the mansion, including the sump area, and no Jennifer.
Finding the armory key is also unsuccessful. I searched every book and shelf in the Sergeant's office if that's where it is supposed to be. No luck. :(

She is in a room in the basement lab/work area that you access via the door by the bridge with the two archers. She is lying on a table behind a locked metal door.

Dawwgon, I went cross-eyed trying to find it. :) You're looking for a book to frob, not the key itself. And I went over the shelf unit half a dozen times missing it every time before getting it. I think it's do with my height.

Excellent FM, Krush. Very well placed AI. Great secret places.
Btw. why is the third sheriffs window locked ? Can it be unlocked ?
Krush on 20/2/2009 at 15:11
At first I didn't want people to be able to climb up to Sir Sebastian's balcony, and if you opened that window and mantled onto it, you could have jumped over to his ledge.
However, during beta testing I realized that I was closing off a vital route to traverse back and forth through the city section, so I changed the balcony from stone to wood so you could rope up to it. At that point, being able to open that window didn't matter anymore.
So...I just forgot to unlock it.

Thanks Tannar and nickie. I thought I checked that bookcase with a fine toothed comb.
