I do not understand this problem. I have loaded up the game, starting playing it, works fine, no problems. I have saved the same, went out, only to come back to re-start the game and it gives me the Thief 2 Cannot Run Message.
You have 11M of free disk space. Thief 2 requires 35M. Thief 2 cannot run.(?) what the heck? (I have 64G of space)
This is perhaps very unusual since I have started playing the game before this message came up.
I have tried the fix, did not work, perhaps put the "skip_starting_checks" in the wrong place.
Would anyone be able to tell me why this has happened?

I had that once, what I ended up doing was duplicating a random big file.

Yes, I seem to recall that if you add a few big files into your hard drive it should fool Thief into thinking it's OK again. So go download Calendra's Legacy and Rocksbourg 3 or something. :D

This is a great mission. I really enjoyed playing it. I am about done. All my objectives are complete except finding all the loot. I have only found 3 of 6 secrets. Can someone list the secrets.

I have 2308 of the loot on expert. Only found three secrets, can't remember what they all were.
Keepers apartment was one.
An attic way high up above an alley was another.
I think another might have been a torc in the floor of a closet, but I can't remember if that was a secret or not.
Just found a fourth. Explosive charge, accessible from the walkway at the police station. You have to get on top of the spiked fence, then climb over the rooftop generator.
