Is it me, or did some of the watchers at the vault door not make any sound?
edit:
Imagine adding multiplay to Hammerite Deathmatch. Or those FM's where Garrett is abandoned on those planets and must work with others to survive. :joke:

I can see a whole new series of FMs coming out designed for multi-player co-op in future.
From the point of view of GarrettLoader and DarkLoader it may be an idea to look at setting up some kind of standard for FMs to indicate that they are multi-player ready. I know it may be a while before we see any that arebut its probably best to start now.

We're working on finishing up a site for the project to launch along with the beta, one of the things it will feature is a database of sorts for fan missions... anyone will be able to fill out a form (we'll approve them to prevent spamming) to add to the page.
It'll be sorted depending on playability and when you click on a mission's name you will see another page with further information (specific bugs, etc)
a few fan missions work pretty well, but others don't work at all, so this will be a way to keep track of them.

Just a thought for this then, I don't know if the site is just static html or more dynamic like php, perl or asp, but if it is dynamic would it be possible to have some kind of query page for GarrettLoader.
So that when someone has installed an FM, GL will be able to query the site passing the zip name and or FM name and get a response of (as you mentioned above) further information or some kind of standard error page saying no details found.
GL can then display this info in the FMs readme display (when set to the enhanced HTML view), or disable/enable the Multi-player details tab in it.
Just thinking it would be an easier process for people to use.

Loved the video as well, I don't think I have really seen an AI run at that angle before as I have always been running away from them or chasing them, not side by side with them.

Awesome preview video. Thanks a million.
I thought it was really neat how the second player waited for the first player to "give the signal" through the vent to unlock the bar.
That was great!

I notice that only one player has to escape to meet the final objective...

I noticed that too. I wonder what would happen if one player dies? Does the other fail the mission as well? I would assume so...
