Well lately I have been trouble shooting this problem I have in Thief 2, and I'm sure it's nothing to technical (I hope :rolleyes: ). But heres the problem:
During gameplay in certain areas of FMs (any FM for that matter) Thief 2 speeds up as if i drank a Speed potion. and when there are areas with large amounts of detail it slows down to normal game play speed (strange, no? :weird: ) I'm Guessing it has to do with my Computer specs:
AMD +2500, 1G Ram, ATI 9600XT pro 256MB, Resolution is @ 1024X768 32 bit@ 85hz.
So any guess's out there as to why it's speeds up and how I keep it @ normal speed?

In the bright red FAQ at the top of the forum you will find a section title "Help! Thief runs too fast!"
