I have the UK Sold-Out (actually localized Czech packaging) and the Thief II control panel (or whatever you call it) says, "Final 1.07".
so the patch is on one of the CDs? I also seem to remember, when I first got it and installed it, getting the patch from Sold-Out's website.
I like 1.07, I like the Spiders in "Framed".

Depends. On early cd-versions, there was no patch on the disks and both Thief I and II are the unpatched version. The correct patch can be downloaded from Sold-Out's website.
Later cd-versions include the correct patch on disk and has to be installed manually, but the one on Sold-Out's website can also be used.
The DVD-version that contains both Thief I and II install fully pre-patched. There is no need to update.

Early Sold Out Thief 2 disks - such as mine - don't contain the patch. I tried applying the standard patch first but it didn't work, I specifically needed the patch from Sold Out's site.
Even then Calendra's Legacy didn't work properly, but a solution was offered here in another thread.

Anyone have a link to the sold out Thief 2 patch?

I also have a question about the Sold Out version. I have it myself, but recently I was playing a different version of TMA. My dad picked it up in Singapore, I believe, the English version. I noticed that you can't blast open metal doors with fire arrows, while I was always able to this with my other Thief installation.
Both installations were patched (and ddfixed, if it matters). Could you guys post which version you have and if you are able to force open metal doors with explosives?

Open metal doors with explosives? I didn't know that was possible.

Well it is, but it seems that even when I'm running the Sold Out version I cannot do it in multiplayer. Meh :(

Multiplayer? Well that could be your problem right there. Maybe it doesn't work right in multiplayer.
