Gah, listing out everything with "crash" in the title is just as pointless. Two thirds of the ones you listed cannot be the problem because they occur after or as the 3D engine is loading, not between disc spin up and the menu showing.
This is the problem with community tech support, it results in a lot of wasted time on behalf of the user as often the solutions given cannot fix the problem. It is helpful to know about the problems behind the solutions you're giving rather than basing it on what is written in the FAQ titles.

i have had this same problem since i got a new computer three years ago, ive tried just about everything to fix it and it still wont work.

Don't give up yet! First thing to do is locating the error source - the usual suspects are graphics and sound hardware and software.
Did you try to play a game movie in WMP (and it must be WMP, because Thief is using it's API)?
