I would skip "Keeper of the Bell" It is TG, and a botched jpb on my part. My first fm. To Whom the Bell Tolls is the Sequel to it. Most of them have been revised, so they are okay.
If you like bank jobs, Wicked Webs We Weave, should keep you entertained for a while.
Hope you enjoy !:)

Excellent mission, darthslair :thumb: Tense & immersive, great AI paths & particularly well-written readables - hints for everything & never long or boring. You even managed to squeeze in a little TH!
Finished about 1,000 short of loot though!! Got everything from the cells, - mostly on window ledges - all purses (I think), the crown on the statue & a diamond outside.
Any chance of a nudge concerning some more?

Some loot possibilities: The kitchen goodies, plates, forks, knives, fine wine, and fire poker.
A lost ring next to the Hammers Toitey. Another ring at the base of the bunk bed in the Hammers quarters. The Wanted posters in the Foyer. Out in the grounds, there is a silver nugget inside a plant. The upper and lower archers on towers. Loot in Cell windows , upper and lower floors. Some coins by Magee's corpse in Sewer. There is 4200 loot in expert, and all of it is in plain sight. I call it sometimes the most obvious is the least obvious.
Thanks Sticky Fingers ! Glad you are enjoying it. I will have a loot list out soon.:)

Ok, thanx darthsLair - missed the ring by the bunk, silver poker & 2 purses near the main gate - 455 short sounds a bit better, but I'll be reading that loot list with interest...

Very well packed mission. It has some of the atmosphere of Cragscleft.
I couldn't find the replacement for the BJ and I completed the mission sneaking - I must say it was quite cool. What was the replacement for the BJ and where was to be found?
darthsLair on 18/7/2010 at 18:01
BJ spoiler:
In the tool/storage room on the workbench. first door on left after you descend the air shaft look to the right on the workbench. It is a Lead Pipe.Thankyou, glad you enjoyed it.:)
Someone was generous and kind to place info on this fm : Here : I have added some screen shots (53) for the Revised edition.(

There is an Album "Escape Hammer Hill" I had made a special edition of the revised copy with altered ambient light to obtain a better quality of screen.
Here is a link to the album, incase I am wrong which is usually the case anyway :(

I really enjoyed the mission but would agree with the other comments about the "dead ringer"
objective. I was in the sewer and came back with McGee's body only to find the objective not ticking off. It's a little odd considering he was identified as a thief in the wardens office. other than that it was quite fun and looked great.
darthsLair on 21/7/2010 at 05:07
Thanks Ravenus, and you are right, it is confusing. I used:Paul the Pill Popper, in cell 6, and left a final farewell from him. And of coarse to identify him, you have to pick him up to see that he is the Dead Ringer. The only other Dead inmate is Finnagin. The Thief in the Sewer had actually been looking for Finnagin, and Poisoned him with Rat Killer pellets. Why he would have eaten anything sitting on his window sill is beyond me.:laff:
