I have the makeshift lockpick. Try it on the other
sewer door.

Try it on the other
sewer door. No luck. There are two sewer doors, one inside the prison that has a door that can not be picked. The other on the other side of the gate that closed behind Basso.

If you have the Lock Pick thenThe Lockbox on the wall in the Utility shed will open the manhole cover. Once you get into prison via the other manhole cover there is a key on the Powder key that will let you into the Corridor. I made iit this way because it happened to me. TheLock box in the Utility shed was picked by Malcolm Magee as a way into the Prison. I wanted a way for the story about Magee entering the Prison to make alittle sense, so the Lockbox can only be picked. Also a safety so the player wont have to reload a saved game in order to get back onto the prison grounds should He/She follow Basso through the main gate.

No, my problem is the over way around.
I did not follow Basso to the main gate. The sewers have two entrances: one through a door inside the prison, and one through the shed. The door inside the prison is not pickable, and the key to it lies on the other side of it (and I don't have it). The shed is on the other side of the gate that closed behind Basso, therefore inaccessible to me. Now I am stuck, because I can neither get to the main gate nor to the sewers.

Sorry Haplo, I am not quite understanding.
You Said:
"I have a question. When all is done, Basso walks to the prison entrance and a gate closes behind him. If I am on the other side of the gate and don't have the sewer key, how can I escape?"
You said:"No, my problem is the over way around. I did not follow Basso to the main gate. The sewers have two entrances: one through a door inside the prison, and one through the shed. Okay: I think I see now. You are at ground level and you cannot access the Prison? Look on the vertical Catwalk supports and you will see some rung ladders. Take one of those up, and get back on the roof and down again into the air shaft.
Other than this: There are two keys to the "Sewer Access Room" 1 is in the Warden's office on the window sill, and no.2 is on the powder keg in the "Sewer Access Room"
I hope I am understanding you now. You are not beyond the main gate, but are at ground level between the Main Gate and the Prison. No access to the Utility shed.

Haplo: Basso isn't the only person who can open that gate - you can do it too via the ratchet. It might need to be operated in both directions.

Thanks guys, I had missed those.

I have a problem with the Basso objective
I put the disguise and keyring on Basso's bed and knocked out all the guards but he's not doing anything! I have also completed the other objectives...any clues?

Hi Suewan, Sounds like you are having the same problem that Paulie007 was having. Follow this link, and scroll down to the first post of Paulie007

The new time stamped gen.osm and the latest convict.osm links are also on that page. These files will update your fm experience. These steps I outlined for Paulie007 should work for you too.
If you are usiing Windows Vista with GarrettLoader, I would suggest Darkloader v4.3, as Vista has a problem associated with Garrettloader.
If you find none of the above to have caused it, then did you allow Basso to see the Lead Pipe, or any Weapon?
Might I suggest that you play the Revised edition ? It is much more refined, but first I suggest you update Gen.osm, and Convict.osm as outlined for Paulie007.
