Thief 2 is a bit too dark even after changing the gamma settings. How to I sort this out?

Have you tried adjusting the contrast and brightness on your monitor?

Maybe it's normal, have you compared it with T1? Or post here some photos (not screenshots) of the game and desktop.

Are you using an integrated Intel graphics chip, possibly on a laptop?

I actually do have Intel HD Graphics but I have a desktop. Anyway the problem seems to be fixed by changing my screen's brightness every time I play. But is there a way to fix it without changing my screen settings?

unfortunately, I have the same issue as TheMaster26, since I updated my Thief 2 installation to ND 1.23 I cant change the gamma settings in the pause menu anymore. The bar is moveable but when I switch back ingame, nothing hast changed and it is still very dark. I can hardly see the lightsources, nothing else. I already tried to change the gamma settings inside the cam.cfg, but that didnt work either.
And yes, I use an integrated Intel graphics chip on a laptop. Someone knows what to do... Im really looking forward to play all those recently released fms during my holidays. Thanks for your help.
