i can´t find any file within the t2x folder called install.cfg
this is confusing, i don´t understand the instructions. says i must remove the lines "read-only attribute", but i can´t even find the file install.cfg :confused:

hmmm i was able to install it properly this time, i had to rename the file "installoriginal.cfg" to "install.cfg"
But now i have another problem, the game crashes into the desktop.

Have you tried the FMSel version listed above? It doesn't require any kind of installation. You just play it as you would any other fan mission.

are you still playing all your missions via Darkloader ?
FMsel comes with NewDark. Open up your Thief folder, go to cam_mod and uncomment (remove the semi-colon) from the second line down under FM options so it reads as
; always start the FM Selector (if one is present)
fm
save and launch Thief, FMsel will then load, but you will first need to tell FMsel where the FMs are stored....you need to click on the cog icon at the bottom of the FMsel box
