FMsel comes with NewDark. Open up your Thief folder, go to cam_mod and uncomment (remove the semi-colon) from the second line down under FM options so it reads as
; always start the FM Selector (if one is present)
fm
save and launch Thief, FMsel will then load, but you will first need to tell FMsel where the FMs are stored....you need to click on the cog icon at the bottom of the FMsel box

ok its launching fmselector, but i can´t set proprely a path for the missions. :confused:

Alright i was able to set a path for t2x, its working now :thumb:

Yes, and I have no regrets doing so. Whenever I play an FM, I have no need to play other FMs or the original game, so that functionality of it is lost on me. As for the other functions, sure they are helpful, but I don't like FMSel's UI at all. Darkloader's UI is much better for me. As such there's no pressing need for me to change, almost all missions run just fine under Darkloader.

I totally agree with you, I SO do not like it. I started using FMsel because every time I came across an playing issue and posted a query Voodoo would respond on the lines 'FMsel...Use it'
It's taken me a long time to get used to it, but now I do not even think about using Darkloader

I personally like how FMSel doesn't mess up your Thief installation, it's a lot cleaner by keeping FM files in a separate directory. Also, you don't have to mess around with editing ini files every time a Thief 1/Gold FM comes out. And you can have multiple FMs installed at once. And the list goes on.
