Heh, all right sorry for the extra large screen then. I blame it all on Avalon.
No worries....but more screen shots. :) We've been fed far too little over the last 4 years. ;)

Relationship between the ethos of T2X & Firefox, anybody?
Why be content with the slop they dish-out to the masses when you can savour the food of the gods, or something...
Sounds good to me! :)
Coincidentally.

The pine forest shot is especially beautiful. I really can't wait, these missions are looking fantastic.

Wow... Once again, I tip my hat in the direction of the modders and their amazingly dedicated and time consuming work...

I do hope I will be able to actually access the files since I'm not too sure which installer you're using and if it works with Cedega/Wine. If it doesn't and I can't access the files without the installer. I can't play it.
Thief and Thief 2 work fine on Linux with Cedega/Wine (Except for the cutscenes not being played.)
Please make sure it is usable on Linux too. :) (PM me if you need me to test it or something.)

Can you use the winzip self-extracting files? If so, then yes, you can still play using Linux (well... as much as you can like regular Thief 2). The launcher program may not work (and will not be ported), but manual instructions will be provided.

Exactly. Firefox is simply amazing. I would love to get the word out and really see it take over. It's taken 10% of the browser market already.
But then the evil spyware-makers will focus on finding security holes in Firefox. Let the IE-using masses shield us, I say. ;)
Extra fiddling? Sounds interesting. :D

I can extract from winzip self-extracting files.
I might be able to make an installer for the expansion if needed. I'll wait till it's been released. There aren't many Linux users here that play Thief anyway. (Think i'm the only one to be honest.
:p)

My only use for Windows is to play Thief , or the odd new purchase . I've always found it easier to do the dual boot thing than get it working in Mandrake .

Well, I may not play Thief on Linux, but that is mostly because I never managed to get it working properly. TDP works to some extent but T2 doesn't. TDP only runs in software mode and it doesn't capture the keyboard so when I try to control TDP with keys I just get the characters in the shell for some reason.
But I'm sure a linux user. :) Actually that is one reason (out of many) behind The Dark Mod using the D3 engine and not any other, like HL2 or so. Because we can easily port it to Linux and you can be sure that I will take care of that. ;)
