Amateur project or professional project... who cares? All I'm saying is that I'm convinced that T2X will prove a better "final product" than TDS ever was. Of course I'm in complete understanding about how many problems the TDS team must deal with as a company, but I'm just talking about the result, here. It's just my personal assumption. Feel free to think it sucks.

Remember folks, the only difference between amateur and professional work is whether or not you get paid for it.

Hehe... so true. I tend to judge it whether it's been made in a "professional" way or not. T2X will most likely be deemed as such a professional project, by me at least.

Thank you.

Words actually fail me. The sheer effort and dedication is worthy of more thanks than I can imagine. The thought that this very winter I could be experiencing that same spine-tingling feeling as the first time I played Thief.... Ahhh it's gonna be a fun Xmas.
Well done all of you. :thumb:

AWESOME!! I can't wait to play T2X...this is just another good reason to finish Half-Life 2 as soon as possible. :ebil:

Just to address one quick concern: we are going to try to fit it on one CD. The Dark Project fit on one CD right? ;)
Hopefully cleaning out some old files and experimenting with some compression will get us there. The biggest culprits are of course sounds and movies, so we'll see how that goes. If not it wouldn't be the worse thing in the world though.
Thanks for all the responses! Don't worry, we'll figure out some way to distribute this thing effectively. Now we just have to finish...

Seems some read my posting wrong, because that was exactly my point. That's why I put the words in " to make this clear. ;)
