Hi all, i recently started replaying Thief G/ MA/DS and then found the Thief 2X (I danced! I Danced at finding something so unexpected - my stomach went all frumbly):o :D
ANYWAY..
i freeze and have to 'end task..not responding.. reload quick save' EVERY time i try to read a scroll or book, even so i've made it all the way to mission 12 and i've had enough..so..is there a way to read the scrolls from the thief 2X folder?
thnx xx

more details are required - are you using NewDark? are you running T2x as FM via fmselect, or just the default install?

yes to new dark, default install of the T2X.exe .
thanks x

thanks - i'v downloaded and unzipped it - do i just cut and paste the whole thing into my Thief 2 folder? and if i do, will it erase all my current T2 and T2x saves?

yes, just unzip to your T2x folder, overwrite if necessary. saves shouldn't be affected.
//actually you might be required to restart your current mission.

I just downloaded the full T2x into my FM mod folder, with all my other FMs, using DarkLoader, but it's not seeing it.
How do I install this T2x?
Thanks

probably the best way would be to use the T2x installer, this will create the T2x folder in your Thief2 folder. if you have patched your T2 install with TafferPatcher (and chose to let it create the shortcut which enables the fmselect), you should have a FMs folder in your T2 install. drop the T2x folder there and you should be able to run it as an FM.

Is tafferpatcher Tfix?
The T2x installer is not with the T2x files?
I have an FM folder that I created where I save all the FMs for DarkLoader, that one doesn't count?
I don't see a folder called FM in my T2 folder
