I have the same problem, except I was initially able to go there, I got the jobs, and now i've done the jobs and i can't go back. The only thing I can think of is that i finally upgraded to sp2 for winxp, and after installing that it doesn't work?
strange.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I tried running it with the disk, and it didn't fix it at all. I'm not sure if I want to install minimalist or not, because I don't mind the DS HUD and am kind of interested in playing it the way ISA designed it. Though I WOULD love to get rid of the 10000 movies in the beginning...
Did you get the game on the bundle DVD too, thrawn?

You can get rid of the movies without Minimalist, it's very easy. Check the FAQ, it describes lots of things about customization of TDS.
As for the main question, maybe it restarts because the version is special (in other words, messed up)? I would try it on a different comp to see if it works there.

Most people said that they were able to see/hear :) Auldale for a moment (2-5s). They couldn't return to Auldale, but they had done all the jobs etc. Quicksave when the loading finishes and the screen starts to appear. Quickload.
EDIT: It was Terces courtyard? Sounded like the Auldale bug.

Ok, i found out that my particular problem, was a driver conflict with windows xp sp2, all i had to do was update my video card (nvidia 6600gt) drivers to the latest version (77.72), and i was able to go to terces square.
Hope that helps.
Oh, and I've got the original CD release, not on DVD.

Oh, and I wasnt clear in my original post, but i had trouble going to Terces square to meet with artemis the second time, to deliver the artifacts.

Well, it worked! Thank you very much, everyone!

I spoke too soon. Installing new video drivers allows me to move through Terces without a problem, however the game still randomely restarts the computer after loading new areas. Once it even did this after loading the menu. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem, and that we can find a solution to it.

Might be RAM related. My PC would randomly restart during games when I mistakenly put standard RAM in a dual channel configuration.

I am not an expert with computers, but could the problem be with your power source. Maybe it is inadequate for your computer.

How hot is your system running? A lot of the time HEAT is the problem.
The Video cards really get a workout with T: DS.
