Well, it works fine, and I've done a few neat things, like the widescreen setup and Texture pack. A little choppy on my comp, but the experience isn't totally hampered by that or anything. :D
Still, it took me long enough: I install windows XP on my laptop after how long?

Augh, I've hit a snag!
Anyways, I installed the minimalist patch (the latest version, as far as the circle shows), and now, on the training mission, Garrett floats in the air and his animation is not working.
I've got it so that it's first person, as you can see by the screenie... which is a edit in the settings... forgot how it works...

And after installing the minimalist patch, it doesn't work. Weirdest thing.

Nope, not weird at all. lol Minimalist was made before those installers came out. I no longer have the source for the Minimalist installer, so I can't release any more updates.
I am pretty sure Ascottk's GarrAT patch checks to see if Minimalist is installed, so you would have to install Minimalist first, then any other patches afterward.

And you'll still have the problem of overlapping content and the like. I usually only have the 1.1 patch, TDS Tweaker and JohnP installed because the MP probably changes the most things inside the game. But still I cannot remember any problems with installing the MP afterwards. However, I only tried the animations tweak once and it was so weird that I didn't use it. Don't know if something went wrong or if I had caught a beta version, but it looked like Garrett was moonwalking all the time.
