I recently purchased Thief 3 on steam. The game starts fine, but when I start a new game and it actually loads the engine, it sits for a while then crashes. I have gathered that this is a likely a problem with my CPU (dual core), so I have changed the affinity of both t3 and t3main to one core, to no effect. The strange thing is that another copy of t3main runs when I try to load the level, and sometimes, if I have the first one running in a window, I can tab over to it and get an error message. What's going on here? (I have directx and the latest graphics drivers, NVIDIA)
