Thief 3 Missions: Avoiding Mistrust 1.1.1 and Lord Raven's Mansion 1.2.2 - by DarkDragon

And one more question, this time not only for my personal interest:
Has anyone recently used the new beta version of GL to play TDS FMs (like this one), un-installed it again (the FM, not GL), re-installed it somewhen later and noticed that all custom settings and savegames were gone? I don't want to report this to poterr if it was an issue of my own system only.

I have the GL beta. Currently, I am playing Avoiding Mistrust. I'll try unloading & reloading to see what happens when I go back into GL. Did you install another mission between or did you just uninstall, then reinstall?
OK, Beleg, it's not just your system. I hadn't unloaded then replayed any mission recently, but it seems that any reloaded T3 FM loses its settings & savegames. I'm pming Potterr now. Thanks for the alert.

Thanks Dark! So few T3 FMs - any day we get a new one is a banner day!

Older FMs still have their original settings when started, maybe the issue's when you un-install them they get messed up.

I had a feeling that may happen, I took out all the FileSystemObject code (nearly all) in GL as Vista doesn't like it, however I'm guessing the replacement code in the beta isn't working correctly for T3 (its a separate process for T3 saves to the other games). I'll have a look at that over the weekend and get a new beta uploaded to the auto update system.
EDIT: when the next beta is out I would recommend installing and un-installing in debug mode so you can see what its zipping up and unzipping.

I thought both missions were excellent. I look forward to the next part. The only problems I had were that neither mission once completed would go back to t3 or a menu. Once the missions ended, I hit continue and they crashed to desktop. The other problem was in AM, it started to studder twards the end, and the objectives and notes disappeared. Oh yeah and on a side note, in AM I never had to use the master key. The room key opened the master door. Other than that as I said they were excellent. So when is the next part due out?

Anyone found all the loot in Lord Ravens Mansion or has a lootlist ready? Missing still 50 gold for a 100% :)
