Ive never played thief 3(video card needs upgrading) and im wondering what the motive of the main Antagonist is(T1 the trickster taking over or destroying the world,T2 karras gassing everyone for the builer's coming, T3 ????) I just want to make sure it dosen't mess up the plot for my FM.:cool:

Give us some parameters, otherwise I'd suggest reading a walkthrough or the "Deadly Spoilers" threads. I've never played the game, either, but I know the main story.:cool:
MAJOR SPOILER THAT, HOPEFULLY, DOESN'T TELL SO MUCH THAT THE GAME IS RUINED FOR FIRST-TIMERS:[SPOILER]The Keepers are concerned when the Prophecies tell of a "Bretheren and Betrayer" bringing about the end of knowledge (which the Keepers hold in their libraries and spend most of their lives studying), which they call a "Dark Age." Since Garrett keeps fulfilling significant prophecies, they think he might be the "Bretheren and Betrayer" that will bring the downfall of the Keepers. Garrett suspects the First Keeper (top guy, Orland). The Keepers split into two groups: those that fear Garrett and want him dead, and those that believe Garrett and think he will save them. Meanwhile, the antagonist is a Keeper that no one suspects.[/SPOILER]

[SPOILER]The Bretheren and Betrayer turns out to be Garrett in the end. The antagonist is the Keeper translator, who translates the prophecies spewed out by Caduca. The antagonist turns out to be a nigh-immortal hag named Gamall who shapeshifted into the form of the young girl in order to act as a Keeper. She uses the power of the glyphs far more effectively than the Keepers and the only thing that can stop her is the "Final Glyph." She tries to take over the world with a small army of statue warriors, but Garrett unleashes the Final Glyph and all of the glyphs's magic is erased. The Dark Age begins at the very end of the game because there are no glyphs; all of the books in the Keeper Library are blank, but the world is saved by dear Garrett.[/SPOILER]

Several mistakes there.
[spoiler] The Brethren and Betrayer is not Garrett, but Gamall, since she was one of the early Keepers and thus betrayed the other keepers by her abuse of the glyphs and plans of world domination.... Garrett, on the other hand, turns out to be the One True Keeper. [/spoiler]
