This is the first time I've read the "announcement interview." It's a rather fascinating read that, though there's nothing we don't already know, everyone should check out.

My friend
acridrose gets the credit for this one, fellow taffers. I just let Tim know about it after Namdrol messaged me first.

And don't forget, Paul, we're a bunch of reactionary doom-saying bastards who love to nitpick and bash when it comes to Thief (okay...okay... damn near anything). Friendly--but bastards.
Welcome!
Devs are piñatas we beat with sticks, when we aren't flailing comically desperately and sadly, hoping to get the devs to spill their goodies, and if we can't get one good swing in, we go beat the dead horse.

Hey, Paul & welcome to the forum. I am very happy to see that you are taking an interest in the people who have done the largest part of keeping Thief alive for 10 yrs. Eric Brosius made some awesome music. Hearing that you are both familiar with his work & like it sounds like a good omen. Your resume is impressive and gives me hope that the soundtrack will be done in a proper Thiefy manner. :cheeky:
Thank you for any bits of info you can give us! :thumb:

One other thing I'll mention is that I'm the Audio Director, Composer & Sound Designer. It's rare to do all three jobs on a title of this size, but it makes a lot of sense given the context.
If you play any of the demos on the Earcom website, remember that it's designed to show my range of skills.
Thanks for the kind words.

And regarding that Camila Vala Roberto link on the Thief4 forum, that's a nice piece of work. I only do the occasional bit of lecturing at Ravensbourne, but I did teach her for a semester.
Good old reverse reverb, can't go wrong with that effect.

One of my favorites. :cheeky:

Those are bad news, as Eric Brosius is my favourite music game composer, anyway i hope the new composer EidosMontreal has make something decent, because latetly there is only boring soundtracks in the new games, with a few exceptions luckly.
