Tim McDonald has (
http://www.incgamers.com/News/20516/) changed the credit to finding the info about earcom to acridrose.

Thanks to internet supersleuth acridrose for spotting this.
I know jtr was a bit worried that he was wrongly credited and it's good to see that Tim changed the article as requested.

He's not Eric Brosius. Probably bad news indeed, but we are talking about an audio director. The new guy may be talented.
We're not talking about voice actors yet. If they don't get Russel back - I'm sure most people will boycot Thi4f
SubJeff on 19/1/2010 at 14:15
I'm sure not.

I say we just hang him now for the greater good. GuvP, if you're still reading this, WE'RE COMIN' TO GET YA!
Jesus, guys, how would you like to read about what (or who) you're not like, and who you should model yourself after? I would be utterly insulted and not bother to drop in during the development process to listen to and answer questions. But that's just me.
Paul, I'm familiar with your work (Discworld!) and can't wait to experience your contribution to the Thief universe.

Are you doing the sound effects as well as any music?

One other thing I'll mention is that I'm the Audio Director, Composer & Sound Designer. It's rare to do all three jobs on a title of this size, but it makes a lot of sense given the context.
Ah, excellent!
I hope this doesnt change.

Those are bad news, as Eric Brosius is my favourite music game composer, anyway i hope the new composer EidosMontreal has make something decent, because latetly there is only boring soundtracks in the new games, with a few exceptions luckly.

Just wanted to point out, since you both seem to have missed it, that "the new guy" is Guvnor_P and has posted several times in this thread already, including his impressive (to me) qualifications.

I thought my posted hinted toward that...
Then again, I'm thick and idotic.

LATE EDIT: aaaand the paragraph which used to be here makes zero sense now that the thread was cleaned up. Deleted.
Thanks for dropping by Paul. Your resume is certainly impressive!
EDIT: And can this please not become another generic T3 thread?
