Just got this email from Amazon regarding my Thief 4 pre-order:

I'm praying to the Builder it's just some sort of admin error or something.
Searching on Amazon, Play.com, etc. it looks like it's still available for pre-order. I assume if it has been discontinued, they would have taken down the pages.

Yes, it's true that places like Amazon and Gamestop (and Fred's Outta-My-Truck Discount Software Direct, which carries all the major titles hot off the presses straight from China) have insider information about release dates for games that are in early development. I see absolutely no reason NOT to trust their omnipotence and pre-order like mad.

I'm still waiting for my Duke Nukem Forever from Babbages, too. I'm sure it'll come. One day.

If I think that I started learning the Unreal Editor back in 2000, because they said that Duke Nukem Forever will be based on it! :rolleyes:
