lets see dx3 first, which I assume should be much further in development than T4. This will be my milestone which I am super enthusiastic about. They will be able to prove that their art, design, coding, sound and especially writing team is up to the task.
Not necessarily. Pretty sure they're two separate teams.

i had the impression dx3 is being developed for years and is far behind its preproduction stage, having playable demos to show to the press (and screenshots) while T4 released nothing and seems to have been active for max a year. that's my impression from press releases and their timing. Is there any indication, hint, that T4 could be FARTHER in prod than Dx3 ?

The facts are easy to find. EM opened its doors in 2007. DX3 is their first project, and mere months ago they were granted an extension to their otherwise-
set-goal of a
24-month development cycle to get their very first game out the door in great shape.
Thief 4 is on an official 24-month development cycle, beginning in about April 2009. If the T4 team (which still does not have the full 80 members they have set their goal for, yet, and won't for another year or more) is granted an extension, then we will have to wait longer for it, too, of course.

maybe they should change their cycle to 48 months then, haha
