Yay, Thief4 is finally released. Anyone get it yet? Will we be able to build FM's for this version as well?

I got it. It's not all that great. Eidos Montreal is not providing FM support, but to be honest I wouldn't be interested in playing any FM's based on Thief 2014.

insulted by one?
Also, the guy on the video dropped the "this is the worst game that I've

I've been playing the PS3 version--one mission a night--when the family's in bed. I like the game, personally.
There's always gonna be some folks who feel the need to bust out a game just so they can be the first ones to post a YouTube video. Has anyone on the forums written or done a review? Probably get a better perspective.

Heh, fair enough. I think that there are bigger flaws in the game than the not-so-free jumping, in fact that's rather low on my list of complaints. The controls are a minor annoyance at times but they get the job done. The sneaking around however is good, whereas the audio design (another core component of Thief in my opinion) is buggy and just broken, which leaves Thief somewhere between the mediocre/good territory for me. I'm still only in Chapter 4 so my opinion may (and most likely will) still change though.
Anyway, I honestly believe that whoever claims to be
insulted by a video game or says that Thief is "the worst game ever" needs to get their head checked. :p
