If you look at different merchants, they all have Thief 4 for pre-order and have different dates for release. I can confidently say that even EM and Square-Enix don't know when the game will be released. Just last month, we were told EM didn't know all the platforms DX3 would be released on. Regardless, I doubt any merchant knows, and can only guess, which platforms T4 will be released for.

according to play.com beyond good and evil 2 comes out in april, 2010. so go figure how accurate their thief4 estimate is.

people buy in because they're new to gaming.. its been like this since the commodore 64 days in the 80's, back then they would even list follow-up games that werent even announced anywhere, so at least its getting better :P

didn't i say about pre-order of Thief 4 some time back? not at play but still.. oh well.. Personally, i'm a guy that would rather a good thing end when it's still good, then see more and just 'hope' it doesn't spoil...
