Same here... I`ll be buying it because its Thief. If it lives up to the 3rd Thief, I`ll like it and enjoy it. If it lives up to the first 2, I will LOVE it!!

Thief will not be too action-oriented. Make all the changes you want, Eidos; warp the franchise like Ion Storm did with T3. But you won't stray so far from the franchise's core concept as to turn it into a pulp action title. This is not a matter of my faith in you. It's a matter of you, as a quality publishing company, not being THAT stupid.
Apnea is a joke and attention hog.
