You'd really waste your f*** money on a Stephen Russell voicepack DLC, really? If you do a Kickstarter and the game turns out to be absolute crap you'll lose your money for nothing.

I'd do it. I'm also a raving fanatic, though, so there's that.

It seems he got banned for creating the same thread about 12 times. It was a misunderstanding, it seems.
Why is there no immediate notification when a thread of yours is deleted by a moderator? Not even a moderator written message but just a global "Yo, your post was deleted, so you may want to stop making that post since it likely violates the TOU, contact an admin with questions"
Like I said in my message to you over at the eidos forums, if there was a means of me knowing my thread was deleted (and preferably why) I'd have stopped making them. I work on a laptop where my wireless internet is funky at best and I've had issues like that with forums before. Any system would work better than the current where people (like me) have no idea where their post went. Evidence aids in changing behaviors, not mystery.

Deadly Shadows was largely crap but still there was fun to be squeezed out of it, and it was better for having Russell than it would have been if they'd gotten someone else.
Human Revolution was good enough to convince me the gameplay of Thief 4 will be good.

I did the same thing, unfortunately HR turned out to be a poorly balanced popamole shooter slightly worse than Invisible War, and I regret having given them my money to this day.
Are you serious? You actually think HR is WORSE than IW? Like it or not, there's no way in hell any single sane person could think that.
That's like saying "You know. I really don't like this of peanut butter. It's too crunchy, and doesn't appeal to me at all. Instead, I'm gonna scarf down this big bowl of dog crap cuz...you know...it's not crunchy like that stupid peanut butter was".
"...oh no. Corn".
AND THIS IS HOW YOU BEGIN A NEW PAGE, PEOPLE! YEEAAAHHHH!

At least IW had a far better story.
Renzatic on 3/4/2013 at 04:17
That was about its only saving grace. Though I didn't think HR had a bad story at all, it just wasn't as conspiracy laden as you'd expect from a Deus Ex game.

God I love this place.

Note to any big publisher types reading this:
I would also totally pay for direct remakes of things like System Shock 2, Deus Ex 1, Thief 1 and 2 using modern engines and assets from similar games like Thief 4, Human Revolution (remove the orange glow on everything though please) etc. Provided they still used the original voice acting and adhered to the play mechanics etc (movement wouldn't have to be identical but, making the guns and powers match up, etc)

Seconded.
Seriously.
