What is the Event?
In the linked video, one location from 10 different fan missions for Thief are featured. Do you recognize them? :confused: If so, show everyone that you are the real Garrett by being the first to name them all! :cheeky:
How do I Participate?
Easy! Make a post or comment where you list the 10 missions in the video by name. You have to suggest ALL 10 missions for your entry to be valid. Each participant will get a maximum of 3 attempts. If your attempt is valid, I will reply privately and tell you how many missions in your list are correct (but not which ones).
What is the Prize?
The winner will be the first person to name all 10 missions correctly. He or she will get to choose which Thief mission I will feature next on my YouTube channel, and crown him or herself Master Taffer. :sly:
Please be mindful not to spoil too much when commenting, unless you are participating in the competition of course. This event is meant to trigger a discussion around the featured missions, but your knowledge will also reveal information for other participants. For example, if you only recognize a few missions, instead of just blurting out the names of those, you could give others hints to the ones you know (author, plot, release year). Alternately, you could post your first attempt and just guess on the missions you don't recognize. My response to your attempt could give you valuable information, while not giving too much away for everyone else.
Any questions or constructive criticism on the format of the competition is welcome.

I recognized maybe 4 of them, can name only 2/3, the others could be from any mission with my spotty memory.
Shows you how good a taffer I am not. :D

Not a bad idea! This isn't as easy as I thought. I've guessed 7 with relative certainty, but #7 through #9 elude me.

Although you don't have any mission names listed, I got an email with your suggested list, before you edited it. However, your entry wouldn't have been valid, as you didn't guess all 10 missions by name. If you leave any blank, it doesn't count.

Number 7 was the first one I was absolutely sure about, no hint sorry too early.
Think I now know 4/5, but currently trawling through the mission by type thread, might get me up to 6/7.

cool idea at first but then when you played most all thief fan missions its very hard to remember names of missions

That's a toughie! I recognized five of them immediately, and with a bit of checking, I could probably name up to seven.
Then again, I've only played maybe 300 FMs max. :D

Lol, yeah that one is really crappy, literally. ;)
If some of you are recognizing 5-7 missions immediately, then this challenge is no more than medium difficulty. A few of them I deliberately made tough, to make the contest last longer.
On a side note, I have not played all the missions on the list myself.
