Thats only his perception. But, being called lame because we don't play more games is stupid right there. Personal preference.
I am always on the lookout for another game, my favorite genre is horror, which are far and few between.
I've played Vampire Bloodlines, Alice, Undying, Arx, ran a TUT and UT2k4 server, for a long time. War games bore me to tears.
Most gamers know whats out there.

You played UT2004? I didn't like it all that much until I started trying out mods and other custom content. But the old Unreal games, like Unreal + Return to Na Pali and UT1, are among the greatest games I have ever played. And you know how it all started for me? My dad saw Unreal in a bargain bin years ago and thought I might like it. :p
Back then I had seen the Thiefs on the shelves so many times, but never gave them a try. Thanks to TTLG I now play T1 & 2. Last night I played for many many hours, went to bed around 7 AM, I simply refused to sleep before finishing 'Framed'. :p

And like I said: We're not all "gamers". I don't think I'm missing out on anything. I don't feel a gaming void to fill. If I play a game I hadn't tried before, and I really enjoy it, then I still won't feel I had been missing out, because how I'm spending my time now is satisfying. If I take the time to try another game, it will be because I have the time and the desire to.

Bjossi, I ran a RPG invasion server, full custom server, custom monsters, custom skins, *Necros* being my favorite character. Custom weapons, lots of fun, and also a pain in the ass to customize. It boggled the mind how much stuff you could add to your server.

Indeed, I got like 50 GBs of downloaded stuff on my ext. hard drive and it is still just a fraction of the whole. :erg:
Not long ago I was addicted to RPG invasion with Doom monsters and Unreal 1 weaponry. It is pretty cool being able to mix elements of various games; one can only imagine how a UT2004 deathmatch would play out if all players had broadhead arrows and a sword. :p

I'm sorry, but, that made me laugh. :D
We used to play Thievery, and summons UT weapons, oh god the hilarity.
