Here is a little tribute I made towards the Thief trilogy: (

Made in Pivot, a simple stick-figure animation program. This took several days and was all done frame-by-frame, so be nice.

Thanks.
Yeah, the rope arrow bit was definitely one of the best parts, with the rope physics and all.
I will continue it, as I am finally back into animating again.

Mixing elements from the original Thief games and DS? Climbing gloves and rope arrows. :wot: Also, the thief in the video fails completely at ghosting :P. However, I really liked it, I thought it was neat, and Thief fan projects are always welcome. Thumbs up :thumb:

Thanks, man. Yeah, I was completely aware that I never really had him sneak past anyone. I figured because it would be more interesting if he took everyone out in different ways. Like putting out the torch and blackjacking the guy. Or waiting until the guy walks the other way, then launching a moss arrow, bounding across the ground, and then backstabbing him. Yes, I did mix elements from Thief: DS and the first two. I did this because I love all three. I mean, what's better than having wall climbing gloves AND rope arrows? It was nifty indeed.

very nice - well done! Stick Garrett! I'd love to see a stick burrick! :laff:
Gnome on 13/9/2006 at 00:44
Thanks, but who's "Burrick"?
Goldmoon Dawn on 13/9/2006 at 01:23
Not who, sir. What.
If you dont know what a Burrick is, then you obviously havent played The Dark Project. Possibly the Metal Age as well.
So, it is imperative that you seek The Dark Project and complete it. Look on eBay and such.
