Congratulations, Lady Rowena. Being second place to you is more flattering than I could have imagined. Well done, friend.

Well done Lady Rowena :) I have yet to play a mission of yours I don't thoroughly enjoy.
Congratulations to you all on some fine missions. :thumb:
I'd have voted if I'd had more time to play them all. Only finished 3 so far...

The Tower was a superb, engrossing, mission, and I had great fun with it:thumb: :thumb: , and then I reached the attic:cheeky:

Congratulations everyone, and of course especially Lady Rowena. :thumb: This was a great contest with some superb releases, and all this after a year of being spoiled with awesome FMs!
I'd also like to give my honourable mention to Lost Soul for An Old Friend -- if you are reading this, would you consider expanding it into a larger mission? Pretty please? :)

Congratulations to Lady Rowena as well and my thanks to all for all the missions.

Just 30 votes is disappointing - surely many more than that played the missions.
I only managed to finish 5 in time, including one I tested.

Hello all, I suppose its time I owned up for what I have done. First of all I would like to thank everyone for there postings on the An Old Friend thread. You all have been very generous, not one “this is crap” post. Thank you all for the encouragement and the genuine constructive comments. It will spur me on to do better in the future.
The one thing that really “chaffed my nadds” (irritated me) was the failure of the last objective, the get back to were you started one. I could not get it to work, probably for some simple reason as well. Also I must apologise to Mr Nameless Voice for the unintentional addition of his door text. I thought I had removed it but it must have been the wrong zip file. As for the sound, I guess my walls were too thin.
I promise I will do better next time.
To Melan and others that have expressed a desire to see an expanded vesion, I will see what I can do. I am working on another at the moment but if there is a demand it will be the next project. If for no other reason than there was meant to be a lot more story, alas I ran out of time and had to trim things a bit.
I did not get a chance to play all the fan missions so as a result I did not vote, it would not be fair. Sorry for that, real life and all.
I did play Lady Rowena’s The Tower. A well deserved winner there, Congratulations to you.
One more thing, a big thanks to all the people that helped me in the editors’ guild, without that help An Old Friend would have stayed in my hard drive. Also thanks to the Keep and Southquarter for hosting the contest. It meant that I could keep a promise I made over 2 years ago to Komag.:thumb:
Thank you all again, all the best.

Damn, I managed to play all of the missions but totally forgot to vote. You know: "It´s still lot of time so let´s wait till after the xmas days." And then: "It is still lot of time till New Year´s Eve so I will vote before then". And then it was suddenly January... Sorry :(
But I as well had voted for The Tower as winner for the competition. So congratulations to Lady Rowena, and thanks to all authors for lots of fun playing your missions! :thumb:

Thanks to all authors who contributed to this contest. I thought all submissions were worth playing. :D
A request to Shadak, Brethren and Redface: Could re-release contest entrires on your sites with updated readme files that include the nickname of author of each mission? This wasn't always done by some sites after previous contests.
