If any authors care to update their readmes & zips, I will be happy to update the files at Darklurker. You can pm me a link, if you prefer, or post it.
Thank you - I will take you up on that, but not just yet. I'm considering adding a short briefing video and a couple of tweqs (like a method for disabling the fire arrow trap on Expert) then re-releasing it with free lollipops.
- eep!

And there I was thinking it was unfair to vote when I was one of the contestants.
I didn't vote either, for this reason.

Hey pavlovscat, it seems that the link incidentally leads to Yume No Rosen instead of Weak Links ;)
I just noticed that. Sorry for bothering you again.

Fixed...in both threads. Can't read my own handwriting! I should have just pasted the link. :tsktsk:

Ah, I get it. Probably doable to recognise it this way, as I used much of what I learned working on The Box (which was my debut release, and the only one until TAC) to create Weak Links. Probably some details and solutions are very similiar :thumb:
At least I'm sure I put 'anonymous' as username for dromed info_window ...
But I suspect what else could identify me as I think more about it now. Either some strange, but distinctive objects names in dromed or my convention of naming objects in objnames.str file... am I close? :erm:
Also I guess my readme file was recognisable, as I used the one from The Box as a base for contest one.
I'm embarassed......:o I could have sworn that I saw your nick in the info window.....but it was just my imagination, I suppose. I have guessed it, then. :)

Oh, that's clever. Give really bad votes to all the missions but your own (which you're not allowed to vote for anyway) to lower their average and give your mission a boost. Makes me think I should have voted, too... And there I was thinking it was unfair to vote when I was one of the contestants.

I didn't vote either, for this reason.
For my part, I tried to be as honest as possible, in accord with my likings, of course. First was Nameless Voice's mission, 2nd Random Taffer's and 3rd Jason Otto's, because even if I wasn't strictly forced to ghost it, yet being a blackjack maniac I didn't like the gameplay.
I must agree though, maybe the contenders shouldn't be allowed to vote at all. :erg:

Just got a chance to look contest results. Congratulations, Lady Rowena:thumb: And wonder why Falling Down was so underrated:mad:

No need to be embarassed - It's called feminine intuition I think :cheeky:
And why I was asking is just called curiosity :)
So... Playing TAC FMs was fun, building was fun, guessing (or 'tracking' as I would call it, I not consider it 'cheating' when you use more or less obvious clues left in zip archives ;) ) authors was also fun. And rating missions was also fun for me, but I get the point that it opens a way to some scores' boosting (up or down) for contest participants, so if next time voting of contestants won't be allowed I will agree with that.
