Well, somewhat. Like you said, you can't install the games, you need to force-install them. Plus the videos problem. And the problem with nVidia drivers and dual processor systems. I'm sure i'm forgetting some other quirks the games weren't designed with in mind. It'd be nice if we'd get updated versions of the two originals, perhaps even boost available resolutions (and even widescreen, maybe?). I'm not sure if this is doable, but it'd be nice. Myst was recently re-released in a new spiffy Collector's Edition, wasn't it, with improved graphics and sounds and such?

It should - 3cd for TDS, 2cd for TG and T2. 7 cds ~= 4,9 Gb. And last CD for any of the games is far from being full. So they all should take well below 4,7Gb on the DVD.

AFAIK Thief Gold was re-released a few years ago. I remember seeing it on the shelf in its new smallbox form and snatching it up (same with Thief 2; all Thief games are available in the smaller box form now).

Curiously, these newer releases include an entirely unrelated slip of paper that instructs you in installing the game "Monopoly".
