Oh well... It's not like I was saying "since we don't have a blog..."
I was just sharing, that's it.

Isn't SouthQuarter mostly about FMs and providing downloading services to the Thief community? More news and reviews than a blog? I know there's nothing really stopping them from posting whatever they want.
sNeaksieGarrett's posted divergent topics so far, and increased the web presence of Thief. As a blog, it's not about providing any service, per se, other than whatever links he chooses to include. More roads to Thief, FMs, and TTLG are great in my book.
No one has a monopoly on Thiefy opinion, so I can't say I understand the problem.

Good stuff, Sneaksie.
I only speak for myself, not sure what Brethren thinks of it, but I'd welcome such articles over at SQ. People visit it daily for the files, but it lacks more written word. Reviews just don't come in as often anymore, so apart from the occasional interview there's not much happening. Which sucks.
In my book it's a win-win - we get updates and you (and other authors) get the exposure.

Southquarter currently uses blogging software, mainly because there are some cool features to it, but I never really thought of SQ as an actual blog. I suppose I'm not against trying something like that, but I'd be more interested in more reviews and articles as opposed to just random thoughts and opinions.
However, since (it seems) not many others taffers appear interested in contributing to the site, maybe we will at some point go the route of the blog...

Well, think of it as a new perspective from someone else.... I like what jtr7 said:

Bump for more people to see who didn't see this the first time.
Hey I just thought of an idea. Brethren, could you stick my link on southquarter?:sly: Though most of my content is appearing to be more geared toward taffers that don't follow other sites much, seeing as what i posted most TTLG members should know about already.
Now's a good as time as any to say that I'm willing to hear read suggestions for posts...
Also, does anyone know how I can get my Blogger blogs more hits? I know I can simply use certain key words or whatever, but since it's on blogger, I can't put my own meta tags like a website and I have a feeling it's gonna be hard to find this unless someone is specifically looking for a thief blog.

Since it's a blog, it should reflect all your Thiefy interests, describe what you have to offer for anybody looking to collaborate or seeking help, talk about what projects you've done, talk about what you enjoy about Thief and a little about what you don't like. You could even go into a rant. Everytime you play an FM, offer a review, especially if it's one you really like. If the review is written in a way that fits with the style of an FM review site, it could be shared there. Every facet of your fandom for Thief could be touched on. Any creative skills, hobbies, or interests that may someday be used for a Thiefy project, or has been used for one, should be shared. When you write an entry, you could use words that will show up like Tags in a search, without being tags, just by covering a topic thoroughly. Any persons, places, or things that tickle your Thiefy fancy could be an entry. All the Thiefy musings that rumble through your mind could become a thought for the week.:cheeky:
Go through these and see what you think would work for you:
