no, it is not. there's a portable SS1-version for your usb-stick but SS2 would need some serious patching before it could be published by, e.g. GOG for XP/Vista/7. I just think whoever is owning it won't give away such a property, even if he doesn't know what to do with it, he could still end up getting money for just selling the name to anybody.

Just got my DVD collection. Found it online for 29 Dollars. It arrived this afternoon and it is the GOLD/TMA/TDS ready for XP-VISTA.
I'll still keep the 10 or 15 older versions I have, but can now just run my newer systems without a lot of tweaking. :thumb:

So tBM it is Vista ready. Good to know
I've been wondering about this.
As it's being sold now it must be tweaked to run on modern machines.
I've been considering getting a couple of copys to archive and now I think I'm sold on the idea

Thanks for linking this and letting us know! I've been searching for a copy of Gold for ages. (I have found a few on Ebay, but they seem to come up when I have no money, then when I do I can't find them again. Heh) I did buy one of those try then buy ones, but was rather annoyed when there was no way to back that up for reinstalls or new computers. (despite their big ad that said 'its yours forever, there was no way to reinstall, and when that is inevitable from time to time, I feel gypped!)
My friend just gave me the money to buy this one for myself. (Christmas or b'day, he didn't say, but I am not complaining!) So I'm off to order this one. Having tweaked versions of the other two for the newer computers won't be a bad thing either. :D
I'll be ecstatic when it finally comes and I have TG again. :)

640 X 480 X 16
800 X 600 X 16
1024 X 768 X 16
1280 X 1024 X 16
1600 X 1200 X 16

That's mega bucks for that Thief collection, it averages about $16 here in the UK.
System Shock 2 is around $30 to $40 dollars on ebay.
I managed to get SS2 for about 25 dollars on ebay :cheeky: I was
really happy to find it for so little. You've just got to be willing to look around for a while if that's the route you're gonna go.

Not really interested in buying TMA and DS again.Already have them, but I sure would like to have TDP Gold.Where can a person buy just a copy of Gold,if it's even possible? And another thing,Amazon is selling a copy of TDP as "The Directors Cut".What is that?

"Director's Cut" is the German (haha.. well you see how far we've come) version of Thief Gold. "Der Meisterdieb" should be written somewhere.
