Hi. I played TDP and now have TG....should I play it ALL just because of three missions or should I just l play just the three missions? Other question, was the story changed due to those 3 missions? I ask this because the story developed in TDP in a way and now suddenly there are 3 new levels...what were the changes in comparison od TDP story?
Thanks and sorry about the off-topic, but I think it has to do with this thread and theres no reason to create a new topic.
Many thanks once more:thumb:

I'd just play the three new ones.
The rest is in spoiler just so nobody can say I should have used spoiler cover
The only real change in the story is how the talismans are acquiered. In TDP you find the four talismans in two missions...Lost City and Undercover. In TDPG each talisman has it's own mission. Lost City, Undercover, Mage Towers & Song of the Caverns. In TDPG, Undercover is no different except for a missing talisman. The Lost City mission does have some changes but it's mostly different AI so you might want to give it a go after you play the three new missions.
No, you should play it all because it's a damn fun game. Your second playthrough WILL be different from your first, because you've learned the game now. And there are probably still some areas you didn't discover the first time around.

The additions were "Thieves Guild" (new) a change in "Strange Bedfellows", "Mage Towers" (new), "Song of the Caverns" (new) a side quest secret "little big land" (only in Gold).
What was ths "little big land"? I never saw that!!? How do you get to it? And how do you access the blooper level?

For the blooper mission.
Find user.cfg in your Thief Gold directory and open with notepad.
It might already be there but if not you need the line starting_mission 16 It might already be there but with a ; in front of it. If the semi-colon is there just remove it. To play normally again just put the semi-colon back.
You can also add starting_mission ## to that file to jump to any level you want automaticly. Just replace the ## with the appropriate mission number.

In the SWORD mission on Hard and Expert, you need to take a really close look at the area with the stairs to the chapel in the garden.
By the stream with the two pillars to the left of the square fountain in the middle.
If you are alert and use your eyes, the answer will stare you in the "face".
