So, after recently getting Thief: Deadly Shadows due to my curiosity about the well spread Cradle, I finally managed to get oh so very close to my goal. However, one thing is stopping me, every time I try to enter the Keeper Library through the window above the door, after having been blamed for the murder of Caduca, the game loads about 1/4 of the way, then it crashes. Worse part is, it's consistent, I'm hoping someone can help me out here.

Some times the game hiccups. Try a QS a few feet away from the alley. Then load that save and try it again.
This is a common complaint about AULDALE start also.
If you have not, try a RESTART from the mission menu.
As a last resort get the Wynn Save files. Uninstall and reinstall the game then load the SAVED GAME from the Wynn files and try again.
You did not say if the mission loaded or it loaded and crashed when you started to climb.
If it crashes on start, you might try a save from the previous mission. The one nearest to the mission end so you can move on.
Some people never save, but it helps in situations like this if you make a couple near the end of a mission to use as fall backs.

It goes to the loading screen when you enter the miasma (the cloud of smoke that leads to a new area) So, it loads at the proper time, but, while loading it crashes, i'll try what you said, thanks.
Well, I tried a quick save out from that alley, no go.
I tried to load from an earlier save, at the beginning of Stonemarket Plaza, no go.
I can't restart from the mission menu since i'm not on a mission.
I'll try getting a save file now.

If you get a briefing, then you do have access to a RESTART. It is in the menu options.
If you are in the street and you opt out into the menu, you should have a RESTART option.
I may be wrong, but I think my memory is correct on that. If not as soon as the mission starts, before you enter the mist, try restart.
It does sound like you may have a corrupted LOAD for the game. I would take the hard way and bite the bullet.
I would uninstall. Clean all the files. Reinstall and use the SAVE from Mr. Wynn to start the mission.

Yea, it's not during the mission that this happens, it's when i'm out on the streets. However, I managed to get passed it by getting a save file

Glad to hear it. Good luck with the rest. It has been common to have Audale first visit lock up.
The way around that has been to do a QS as soon as the mission starts and then use the QS to restart the mission.
If you have an early version and patched it to 1.1 and this happens try the above.

I did some research on this problem. It appears when the game should remove the data of the previous state of the zone, but doesn't do it. For example, when starting the Cradle mission, it should delete all the files related to City sections. But sometimes when users send me a save folder from that point, I see there not only Stonemarket data file, but even the one from St Edgar's mission. If I remove the file, the game considers the save corrupted and doesn't load it (actually, you can place any random file to a save's folder, load from that save and then the game will drag that file forever from save to save considering it corrupted when it's missing :eww:). I tried to replace conflicting files with empty ones, the game loads the save OK, transportation through the loadzones seems OK, but all subsequent saves are considered corrupted for the reason I couldn't figure out (but quickloading from the hotkey does work, even if the quicksave is considered corrupted, so I suppose there's just another weird check doesn't allow to load it from the menu :weird: ).
So for now, getting a good savefile is the only suitable solution.

The Craddle won't let me pass to the second level with the patients after I restored power. It crashes on loading, even with Wynn's save file. Has someone a save file with the second level?

Could there be a conflict with upgrades/mods that you have installed and that are not "included" in Wynn's savegames (I'm thinking of JohnP textures and the Minimalist Project mainly, because both alter the map files)? By the way, the game doesn't need to be uninstalled when adding new savegames, just the Saveindex.ion file must be removed so the game can rewrite it.

'Twas the mods indeed.
