There is a switch but VERY VERY SMALL.
When you enter the tower (before you jump down) you see a hanging latern. There is the switch. You need to be careful the switch is very hard to reachGot it - one of the most vicious placement I've ever seen:devil: You must have an eagle's eye;)
Did you also find
the new locations of Dr. Floyd's key in this version? It's certainly not below those barrels any more...

the key
search by the tables with the fishThank you again. One last (I promise) question:
Where have the 2 switches in the Fire Temple gone? The plaque explaining the lever is there on the right wall under the painting, but no lever... or at least I can't see it because the frames around now flicker quite disturbingly. I've been struggling a lot with each previous version, and I'd like to play this through at least once :joke:

you need to blow out the fire in the left lower brazier. the switch is inside the brazier but i dont know what he does. if the switch does nothing do what i do climb over the closed gate
How can i open the gate to the kings tomb?

I think you open it
by the switch inside the King's Cathedral, floating above the frozen lake, where you pick up the Chalice. As you approach the table look left, the switch is high on the near column. In addition, one of the "light ghosts" inside carry a key - but I'm unsure what it opens. In the earlier versions
there were two switches in the Fire Temple, one under the painting and another one on the opposite wall. That second one opened the exit gate behind...Huge thanks again:angel::D
Edit: I found
the second switch near the exit, behind the secret door. Now I am - for the first time - in the Air Temle, rid all the shamans of their "leafy wands", just to face another locked gate blocking the way to the Goddess...

Did anyone already find all the rings? I am still missing the two rings of fire and wood. Also I am still missing the knife...?
Firehawk on 21/11/2012 at 09:58
The knifeis in the King's Cathedral. Look to the rightside downstairs. There you will find a skull that looks like a stone. Frob it and a secret door opens with the knife in it

Question: I loaded version 3.0.3, and saves are still broken for me. Occasionally save works and it dumps to Windows, more often it just locks up for a long time and then dumps to Windows when I try to save. Do I need the save patch on top of 3.0.3 or something else?

Update: Save patch fixed the problem. I misunderstood previous appends. Load this mission version 3.0.3 (link a few posts above) and the save patch at: (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=138607&page=3&p=2152154&viewfull=1#post2152154) this location, with instructions and you're good to go.

Still looking for the
ring of the Wood nymph as well.
For the
fire-ring : go to your
start point in this mission and investigate in the
locked area.
To open the gate : check
Dr. Floyds room for a tiny switch near the windows
